Description & Use

APD is a highly effective non-acidic cleaner for horizontal masonry surfaces. APD can be successful in the removal of light to moderate soiling, most grease and oil deposits, rubber heel marks, some oxidation stains and certain other surface deposits.

Preparation

Provide protection for foliage, pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Test all non-masonry surfaces for possible adverse reactions. Protect all surfaces and situations where damage may result from spillage or material drift. 

All projects should start with a test application to determine cleaner suitability, dilution ratio and acceptable method for application. Test areas of at least 10 square feet are recommended and should involve the most severely contaminated area. The final determination of product acceptance should not be made until the test area has become dry.

Application

APD is most effective when applied by low-pressure spray. Brush application and agitation may prove helpful on some surfaces. Dwell times are from 5 to 30 minutes. Removal of the cleaner and contaminant can be accomplished most successfully with pressure washing equipment. A thorough rinsing is required. Dilutions are 0 to 5 parts water.

Limitations

APD is for use by professional contractors only.  Projects where complete rinsing cannot be accomplished will require an additional neutralization step.  Please contact Aqua Blast Corporation for recommendations.

Safety

All applicators must wear OSHA recommended protective equipment.  APD contains Potassium Hydroxide. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Diluted and undiluted product can cause burns. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not ingest or inhale the cleaner, modify the cleaner with any material other than water or use the cleaner for any non-recommended purpose. Refer to the proper MSDS Sheet for treatment of persons exposed to or reacting to the cleaner.

Further, Aqua Blast Corporation shall not be liable for personal injuries, property damage or any other damages as a result of the use of this product, the sole responsibility of Aqua Blast Corporation under the within WARRANTY being the replacement of any nonconforming product. Acceptance and use of this product absolves Aqua Blast Corporation from any such liability what so ever and from whatever source. The within WARRANTY may not be modified or extended by Aqua Blast Corporation representatives or distributors, neither of which are empowered to make any product representation inconsistent with the terms hereof.
